A listener wants to know how to truly forget a wrong that was done to them, not just forgive, but actually move on. Amy & Kat dig into what forgiveness really means and why "forgive and forget" might be setting us up for the wrong expectation. Then, a heartbreaking email from Alixe in DC who has been seeing the same therapist for nearly six years, lost her grandmother unexpectedly, and her therapist simply stopped responding. Her cat has since been diagnosed with cancer and she is left wondering whether to reach out one more time or start over entirely. Amy & Kat weigh in, and Kat offers her perspective as a therapist. Plus, a wedding email that ended up in the wrong inbox…Congratulations Jessica and Mark!

Addiction isn’t just about substances—it’s about the ways we cope with pain, stress, and unmet needs. In this episode, Chip Dodd and Leanne unpack how behaviors like emotional eating, over-exercising, workaholism, and social media addiction follow the same addictive patterns as substances. They explore the difference between coping mechanisms that help us heal versus those that keep us stuck, and how the brain wires itself for addiction. If you’ve ever felt caught in a cycle of numbing or self-sabotage, this episode will help you understand why—and what you can do about it.

Mike and Kelsey are back to break down their Best and Worst Movies they saw in June. Mike talks about the movie that is now in the running for the worst of the year, Kelsey shares her pick for a movie that made her incredibly emotional and they share their experience running into a celeb at the movies this month. In the Movie Review, Mike talks about Jackass: Best and Last. Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O and the rest of the gang return for more outrageous stunts. Mike shares why the movie made him cry twice, if it felt like a rip-off since they used a lot of old footage and is it really the end of the franchise? In the Trailer Park, Mike talks about Whalefall which is about a guy who tries to survive being swallowed by a whale. The trailer looks insane but have they already shown us too much?

Author and autism advocate Carrie Cariello joins Morgan to share the deeply personal story behind her book Marriage: I Love You (for Now). What happened after their son was diagnosed with autism, how the diagnosis affected every member of their family, and why protecting their marriage became just as important as advocating for their child.
Carrie opens up about grief, parenting differences, marriage counseling, raising a child with special needs into adulthood, and the lessons she and her husband have learned after 27 years together. This is the kind of advice parents or anyone wanting to have kids needs to hear!

AI isn’t exactly new anymore, but the questions around it are only getting more personal.
As it becomes more woven into our work, creativity, communication, and everyday lives, it’s worth asking: what are we comfortable handing over, and what should remain deeply human?
In this episode, I’m not talking about the usual fears around AI taking creative jobs or writing all future books. I’m interested in something more personal — the part of us we may be tempted to outsource without even realizing it.
AI can be useful, powerful, and even creatively supportive. But there are some things it should never replace. Take a listen and see what you think.
Take a listen and tell me what you think.

Amy is feeling refreshed and Kat is feeling, well, out of breath (because of the baby!) Amy & Kat are fresh off their girls trip to Canyon Ranch ad they have stories. Kat calls out Amy for printing her boarding pass at home before the airport and this leads to a conversation about the most millennial things we do (i.e. peace signs in photos and doing things on our computer vs our phones, etc…)
Do you know the rules of getting off a plane? Kat shares how Amy stood up for her to a man on their flight (he happened to be doing Amy's pet peeve!!!!) and if you didn't know Amy's feelings about deplaning properly, you're about to find out. Speaking of annoying things, Amy breaks down 3 signs you might actually be annoying. Plus, a voicemail from Linda in Kansas reminding Kat that motherhood is going to turn her into an even bigger crier!! Spoiler: Kat gets emotional.
They also go over the difference between being electrocuted and being shocked. This is an important distinction because Kat thought Amy electrocuted her and harmed her baby. Thankfully all is well and the baby is healthy.
