Dolly Parton is inviting fans to share the spotlight with her.

The legendary country artist, 79, announced earlier this year that she’ll release Star of the Show: My Life on Stage as “a celebration of my journey as a performer, filled with personal stories, cherished memories, and never-before-seen photos from more than seven decades on stage.” It will mark the end of Parton’s “photographic trilogy,” after Dolly Parton, Songteller: My Life in Lyrics (2020) and Behind the Seams: My Life in Rhinestones (2023).

“Be part of the spotlight in the official ‘Star of the Show’ audiobook, because my story isn’t complete without yours,” Parton, who recently announced her first run of shows in Vegas in more than three decades, captioned a post on Instagram on Wednesday evening (July 2). “Whether it’s a favorite concert memory, a moment we shared or how my music’s been a part of your life, leave a voice message at the link in my bio. A selection of fan submissions will be featured in the audiobook, woven into my story for a one-of-a-kind listening experience created with and for you.”

Parton’s website stated of the upcoming book: “Brimming with Parton’s trademark wit and heartfelt sincerity, Star of the Show: My Life on Stage is not only an homage to one of history’s most cherished artists, but also a must-have collector’s item for—and love letter to—any fan of the one and only Dolly Parton.” Star of the Show: My Life on Stage is set to release on November 11.
