FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State volleyball team is back at home this weekend with a match against Air Force on Thursday and Nevada on Saturday.

FOUR ON THE FLOOR

Addison Haluska had a career weekend for the Bulldogs with 25 kills in Fresno State's sweep of San Jose State.

She did not have a single hitting error against the Spartans and hit a career high of .610

In addition, she had two blocks and was responsible for 26.5 points for the Bulldogs against San Jose State.

Total this week, she averaged 7.00 kills per set to lead the conference, 2.71 kills per set more than the second most.

She had a total of 42 kills to lead the conference, in only six sets, and hit over .500 this week in 74 attempts.

In addition, she led the conference in points scored with over 7 per set and 44 total.

STEPPING UP

Freshman Clara Garcia stepped into a new role last week, taking over as the Bulldogs' libero in their sweep over San Jose State.

She had a perfect reception percentage last week in 46 total attempts.

She also had 12 digs against the Spartans and 21 total last weekend.

FIRST CONFERENCE W

The Bulldogs got their first win of MW play last weekend as they defeated San Jose State in straight sets.

Addison Haluska led the team on offense with 25 kills without any errors recorded and a .610 hitting percentage.

This was the first time the Bulldogs had defeated the Spartans at home since the 2020 season.
