FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State Athletics is proud to announce the launch of Red Wave Reach, a new community outreach initiative providing complimentary tickets and a memorable game-day experience to local youth and community groups who may otherwise be unable to attend a Fresno State Athletics event. The program focuses on serving youth from schools (K-8), nonprofits, and organizations that support individuals with special needs, as well as those from marginalized or underrepresented communities.
"Red Wave Reach is about breaking down barriers and making sure every young person in the Valley has the chance to feel the energy of Fresno State Athletics," said Fresno State Director of Athletics Garrett Klassy. "We want these kids to see what's possible, to connect with our student-athletes, and to walk away inspired — not just to be Bulldogs, but to dream bigger in every part of their lives."
The heart of the program is a simple belief: every young person and individual with special needs in the Valley should have the chance to attend a Bulldog competition — regardless of socioeconomic status.
Through Red Wave Reach, participants will not only attend a Fresno State Athletics event, but also enjoy unique experiences designed to inspire, empower, and foster a sense of belonging within the community and higher education. The initiative reflects Fresno State Athletics' ongoing commitment to increasing access to higher education and building meaningful connections between student-athletes and the Central Valley community.
