FRESNO, Calif. - With NFL Training Camps opening up across the League, the Fresno State football program sees 18 former players suiting up for action.
Of the 18 former Bulldogs entering camp, four enter their rookie seasons in Mac Dalena (Kansas City Chiefs), Mose Vavao (Indianapolis Colts), Tuasivi Nomura (Carolina Panthers) and Dean Clark (New York Jets). Fresno State also has ties to some of the league's top returning veterans including Davante Adams who will play his first season with the Los Angeles Rams in 2025.
Following the retirement of Bulldog and NFL great Derek Carr this offseason, the Bulldogs' oldest veteran in the NFL is Adams who enters his 13th season in 2025. Mykal Walker and Netane Muti enter year six in the league, while DaRon Bland enters his fourth season.
The Bulldogs have five wide receivers, four defensive backs, three linebackers, two running backs, two offensive linemen, one quarterback and one defensive lineman entering NFL training camps this July.
WR Davante Adams – Rams
Davante Adams, a Pro Bowl wide receiver and one of the NFL's top pass-catchers over the past decade, joined the Los Angeles Rams this offseason after a standout tenure with the Green Bay Packers, Las Vegas Raiders and New York Jets. With nearly 12,000 receiving yards and 103 touchdowns in his career, Adams brings veteran leadership and elite production to a young Rams offense. He enters his 13th season in the NFL in 2025.

LB Levelle Bailey – Broncos
Levelle Bailey signed with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent last season and is looking to contribute as a core special teamer and linebacker this year. His tackling ability and football IQ make him a candidate for a roster spot. As a rookie last season, Bailey impressed in camp and preseason opportunities and will be relied on in 2025. He appeared in 10 games last season, notching two tackles.

DB DaRon Bland – Cowboys
DaRon Bland has quickly developed into a standout cornerback for the Dallas Cowboys since being drafted in 2022. Known for his ball-hawking ability, he made headlines with a record-breaking number of pick-sixes during the 2023 season, cementing his status as a rising star in the secondary. He was out with injury for some games in 2024, but looks towards a healthy return this season. In his three years with the Cowboys, he has appeared in 41 games, totaled 158 tackles with 14 interceptions and five returned for a touchdown.

DB Dean Clark – Jets
Dean Clark joined the New York Jets as an undrafted rookie this season and is aiming to secure a special teams role and backup safety spot. He's known for his effort and tenacity in the defensive backfield. Clark was an impactful Bulldog in his two years with the program, finishing as an All-MW selection in 2024 and starting in all 24 games played as a Bulldog.

WR Jalen Cropper – Cowboys
Jalen Cropper, an undrafted wide receiver out of Fresno State, joined the Dallas Cowboys and has been working to earn a spot through special teams and preseason play. He brings speed and route-running potential to the Cowboys' receiving corps.

WR Mac Dalena – Chiefs
Mac Dalena joined the Kansas City Chiefs as a rookie free agent this season, competing for a depth role at wide receiver. He's known for his work ethic and route-running skills, aiming to make his mark through special teams and practice squad opportunities. Dalena became Fresno State's first 1,000 yard receiver since 2022 last fall, finishing the season with 1,065 yards and eight touchdowns.

WR Jaelen Gill – Browns
Jaelen Gill signed with the Cleveland Browns and is working to climb the depth chart as a slot receiver and return specialist. With good hands and quickness, he's battling for a chance to contribute in a deep receiving corps. A native of Ohio, Gill has the chance to play for his hometown team after a brief stint with the Los Angeles Chargers after his time as a Bulldog. He had one productive year (2023) with Fresno State, after transferring from Boston College. As a Bulldog, he appeared in all 13 games and had 49 receptions for 516 yards and a team-high six touchdowns. That season, he also had 25 kickoff returns for 527 yards.

QB Jake Haener – Saints
Jake Haener was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in 2023 and has served as a developmental quarterback. Known for his accuracy and leadership, Haener enters another training camp with potential at a starting job. He immersed himself in the new offensive scheme under first-year head coach Kellen Moore in the offseason and will compete for the starting job in the preseason. In eight games last season, he completed 18-of-39 pass attempts for 226 yards and a touchdown.

RB Jordan Mims – Titans
Jordan Mims, an undrafted rookie, signed with the Tennessee Titans in July 2025 and is competing for a spot in a crowded backfield. He brings vision and receiving ability, traits that could carve him a niche role in the offense or on special teams. He has spent time with the Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints since leaving Fresno State. He has appeared in 13 NFL games, recording 20 carries for 70 yards and 12 receptions for 71 yards – all in 2024. He is also a special teams contributor.

DL Arron Mosby – Packers
Arron Mosby, a former undrafted free agent who graduated from Fresno State in 2021, has been part of the Green Bay Packers' defensive line rotation. Known for his athleticism and motor, Mosby is working to establish a more permanent role on the roster. In his first season with the Packers last year, he appeared in 16 games with 12 tackles and two pass breakups.

OL Netane Muti – Lions
Netane Muti, a powerful offensive guard, joined the Detroit Lions after previous stints with the Denver Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders. Having battled injuries throughout his collegiate and professional career, Muti has appeared in 22 games in the NFL and spent the 2024 season on the IR with the Lions.

LB Tuasivi Nomura – Panthers
Tuasivi Nomura, a versatile linebacker, is with the Carolina Panthers competing for a role on defense and special teams as an undrafted free agent this year. He brings a physical style of play and good pursuit ability to the linebacker unit. Nomura was a first team All-Mountain West selection as a senior in 2024, and had a team-high 110 tackles. He began his career at USC before transferring to Fresno State in 2023.

DB Morice Norris – Lions
Morice Norris joined the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent following the 2024 Draft and is vying for a role on special teams and as a defensive back. He brings versatility and energy to the secondary. Last season, he appeared in games in Week 17 and 18 for the Lions, but did not record a stat.

WR Nikko Remigio – Chiefs
Nikko Remigio has spent time with the Kansas City Chiefs the last two seasons, showcasing his skills as a return specialist and slot receiver. Though he's battled injuries, he's flashed explosiveness and quickness that could earn him a more consistent role in the future. He was out with injury in 2023, but returned in 2024 as a special teams contributor. He tallied five games played, and added two receptions for 48 yards, 11 kickoff returns for 295 yards and 11 punt returns for 104 yards.

RB Ronnie Rivers – Rams
Ronnie Rivers signed with the Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2022 and has contributed as a depth running back and special teams player. Though primarily used in a reserve role, he's demonstrated versatility and quickness in limited touches. He has appeared in 34 games with 63 carries for 249 yards. He is still searching for his first career touchdown entering year four in the league.

OL Mose Vavao – Colts
Mose Vavao joined the Indianapolis Colts as a rookie free agent this season. A stout interior lineman, he offers depth along the offensive line and will work to prove his value in training camp. He graduated from Fresno State as one of the most experienced players on the roster, having spent time at guard and center in his Bulldog career.

LB Mykal Walker – Cardinals
Originally drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in 2020, Mykal Walker has bounced around a few rosters before landing with the Arizona Cardinals this offseason. A smart and instinctive linebacker, Walker provides solid rotational depth and special teams ability in Arizona's defense. He has had stops with the Falcons, Pittsburgh Steelers and Washington Commanders before landing in Arizona. Entering his sixth season in the NFL, he has appeared in 74 career games with 241 tackles and four interceptions while contributing on defense and special teams.

DB Evan Williams – Packers
Evan Williams, who played four seasons as a Bulldog (2019-22) before transferring to Oregon for his final season of eligibility, signed with the Green Bay Packers last year and has impressed with his instincts and physical play in the secondary. As a rookie in 2024, he appeared in 13 games and started in six. He totaled 49 tackles, three pass breakups, one interception and one forced fumble.
