Don't Worry About That Zit - Throw On A Pimple Patch And Ride The Trend...

If you're over 20 and had zits in high school, you just dealt with the insecurity. Leave it to Gen Z to somehow make them COOL.

"Pimple Patches" are a huge fashion trend for young people now.  "The Washington Post" did a big story on it this month, and "The New York Post" did another one this week.

They're little stickers that go on your face and cover your zits. And they're medicated, so they keep bacteria out and help them heal.

They're not a totally new product. They've been around a long time, but the old kind were clear or skin-toned.

The new kind are intentionally bold, like you're almost bragging about how many zits you have. And they've gotten more and more popular the last couple years.

Stars are the most common, but they come in different shapes. And you can get them in different colors to coordinate with your outfits.

"Owning" your acne is a big part of why it's trendy. So, you could have 15 zits on your face now and show up to school looking FABULOUS.

The biggest brand is Starface. They say they've been selling around 500 patches a MINUTE over the past two years.

They've also become a form of "currency" at schools around the U.S. Kids are trading them for stuff, like snacks at lunch.
