Yesterday, March 25, national treasure Mandy Moore got her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!! I've always been a big fan of Mandy, from her pop bops of the 90s, to her role in The Princess Diaries, Chasing Liberty, her beautiful voice in Tangled, and more recently of course, This is Us. But, to me, no role and no show or movie could EVER top A Walk to Remember. It was the heart-wrenching adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' novel where Mandy played Jamie Sullivan and her co-star Shane West was Landon Carter. He wasn't supposed to fall in love with her but of course he did! And everyone fell in love with the two actors portrayal. I still watch that movie when I need a good cry!
Anyways, back to Mandy's Walk of Fame ceremony! Shane was there to give a speech, where he called Mandy a "gem" who lights up the room whenever she walks in. He also shared a photo of them from the set of Walk to Remember, and then they proceeded to recreate another photo and its so adorable. Check it out below from Mandy's instagram, where she captioned it "Stars have always sort of been our thing. Thankful to Shane for his kind words on this very special day, one which I will never forget. It was a walk (of fame) to remember."
