9 year old boy convinces Colorado town to repeal 98-year-old snowball ban

A 9 year old boy named Dane Best lives in the town of Severance, Colorado, about 60 miles north of Denver. Since the town was founded in 1920, there has been a ban on throwing snowballs. Dane thought that was "silly" so he presented his case at a Town Hall meeting - he told the council "It is an outdated law, and I want to throw a snowball without getting in trouble." The board unanimously voted to reverse the ban! Now Dane and his friends can have all the snowball fights they want this winter without fear of breaking the law!
