I am absolutely obsessed with Stranger Things. I mean it. I have a bunch of merch - tshirts, pint glasses, pens - and I have seen Seasons 1&2 all the way through more times than I should admit. So of course, I'm already dying for Season 3 - which isn't supposed to be released til 2019 *insert crying emoji* - luckily we are starting to get some deets on the new season.
Netflix announced a NEW CAST MEMBER that will encounter her own creepy occurrences in Hawkins. Variety reports that Maya Thurman-Hawke (Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke's daughter!) will play "an “alternative girl” bored with her mundane day job. She seeks excitement in her life and gets more than she bargained for when she uncovers a dark secret." I can totally picture her fitting into the 80s setting, she already has that vibe.
Variety also revealed that Priah Ferguson will have a larger role in Stranger Things 3! She absolutely stole the show in every scene she appeared in as Lucas' little sister Erica. Variety notes, "No longer content with sitting on the sidelines, Erica finds herself on a wild mission to save Hawkins from a dangerous new threat." I'm so glad they made her a recurring role!
