Country artist Cooper Alan and his wife, Hally Williams, have welcomed Baby No. 1.
The first-time parents announced on Tuesday (December 16) that daughter Coley Frances Cooper made her arrival. The singer-songwriter wrote in the caption of the couple's joint Instagram post: “Everything we’ve prayed for, dreamed about, & then some! Thank you Jesus!”
Alan and his wife announced in June that Hally was pregnant with the couple’s first child. Hally wrote in her caption on the shared Instagram announcement at the time that the pregnancy is the “sweetest news we’ve ever shared - Praising God for this perfect gift!!!!! 🤍🤍🤍”
Shortly after announcing the pregnancy Alan filmed a gender reveal video with Hally backstage at the historic Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. The couple used cupcakes filled with pink icing to reveal that Baby No. 1 is a girl.
Alan married his wife in September 2023 in Linville, North Carolina. He shared with PEOPLE at that time that he had a crush on Hally in high school, and they started dating in college: “I’ve wanted to marry Hally since the 10th grade and now it’s official! I'm so happy to get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend.”
