Cole Swindell Drops New Song 'Down To Earth'

Earlier this week, Cole Swindell started teasing fans about a new song by sharing three blacked out photos without any caption followed by a video captioned, "They tell me get my head out the clouds…" The next day (August 22) Swindell posted a series of three more graphics including planet Earth, a hand throwing the peace sign, and a finger pointing down. All three were captioned "Tomorrow. #DHSV [presave in bio]."

The suspense has been killing fans, but I'm excited to report that the wait is now over. Today (August 23), Swindell shared his new song, "Down To Earth." This is the country singer's third song released off his new EP, "Down Home Sessions V." Previously shared songs include the steamy "All Nighter" and the party anthem, "Drinkin' Hours."

"Down To Earth" is a song that encompasses the feelings you get you finally meet the right person. They caught your eye and totally captured your heart. They've got your head in the clouds and you don't know if you'll ever come down off this high. "They tell me get my head out the clouds / But baby I ain't doin' it / I thought I had it all figured out / But now you got me losing it" Swindell sings at the beginning of the record.

The "Love You Too Late" has been out on the road opening up for Luke Bryan on his "Sunset Repeat Tour." The tour kicked off back in May and will run through the end of October. Additionally, Swindell will also join Bryan on his annual "Farm Tour." Mitchell Tenpenny, The Peach Pickers, and DJ Rock will also be rocking the farm this year. Grab your tickets to both of these shows here.

In the meantime, take a listen to Swindell's latest, "Down To Earth" below.
